Brooklyn-born, Bronx-raised, Darryl Alexander Moore studied cartooning at his beloved High School of Art & Design in Manhattan. He then studied at the School of Visual Arts, earning an MFA degree in Cartooning. Darryl had made a career of teaching art to elementary-grade students at PS 107 in The Bronx for 34 years, which he enjoyed immensely. In that time he also managed to illustrate two children's books ("Jerry the Snow Ranger" and "I Want it NOW!"). In 2022 Darryl founded LoveStorm Publishing LLC, where he published his first graphic novel, "Yvette and the Danger Rangerettes", the children's picture books, "Delirious Tiberious" and "Rickey's Rude Awakening!", and the middle reader's chapter book, "Tales of a Fifth Grade Know-It-All".
Darryl still resides in The Bronx with his wife, Lisa-Anne, daughter Danielle, twins Simone and Stephen, and loyal Max the cat.
